Erik and Christine from The Phantom of the Opera, but set in a different timeline...for reasons that it seemed really cool to me one late night.

I hope no one gets angry with me for creating so many AU's lately with these characters.

Art materials used: pencil, ink, markers, colored pencils, acrylic paints and lastly photoshop. It was a BIG drawing and had to be scanned in two segments which were then edited together.

An Artist Note: Several things influenced this one and the other art illustrations soon to follow. Everything from the Elizabethan era (including Guy Fawkes), a certain video game someone kindly gave to me, and Alan Moore's classic V for Vendetta (the masked anarchist who likes to wear a Guy Fawkes mask), also many BBC period pieces that I have watched recently.

And I don't own PotO. This is just fanart for my own amusement. Wish I owned Erik's outfit though for I would wear it around the town. :)

Wow...the smoky, swirly cape looks awesome! Very ethereal. And Christine's eyes are so big; it looks like she was crying. :)

Her eyes are so beautifull! In general, Christine looks so fragile and delicate here, I like the contrast between her and Erik with all this blacks and reds.
